Career and Success Center Etiquette Dinner Fall 2019

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (Nov. 3, 2019) – Students learn the finer points of dining out for business as well as interviews.

On Wednesday, Career and Sucess Center at Central Connecticut State University hosted their third-year etiquette dinner. This dinner was instructed by Karen Thomas. She is a certified etiquette educator since 2001.

The purpose of this event was to prepare students beyond the classroom with unique skills that are essential to their success. According to Thomas, 85 percent of the business is done over meal or drink.

Dining etiquette skills over an interview or networking event are vital to college students as they are ready to embark on the professional world.
